I've not used a fabric stabilizer before so i cant comment on that. I have never done much hand sewing, but I would like to give it a try. To get the hand of it, I would love to hand applique some different shapes/designs to my childrens' clothing. Having searched the internet for info, I haven't found much. Would you recommend the acryllic or wool blend? Would a fabric stabilizer help to keep the shrinkage of wool in check?
